About Annette

Costanzo-D'Angelo

Since 1997 I live and work in Italy even if I was born and grown in Denmark. Just after graduating from university, I wanted to reward myself by leaving on a short trip to Italy. But this country simply stole my heart and I have been living in Italy ever since…! You never know what life will bring, do you?

I plan events since 2003 and weddings since 2006. The idea of becoming a wedding planner in Italy arrived when I started planning my own wedding. I had a horrible experience with our planner – absolutely terrifying. That was the point when I decided that I wanted to make a difference and that no bride of mine should ever need to go through what I had to face…

Fluent in Italian, English, Danish and German, I love to travel. Of course I cherish my family back in Denmark even though we live far from each other and don’t see each other very often. But when I finally visit they know that I’m there just for them.  It is a fabulous feeling.

Apart from being a wedding planner in Italy, I am a wine connoisseur. I have a flair for classical music and opera and I am a passionate salsa and bachata dancer. I wish I had more time for sewing. And then I love to read. On quiet winter nights you can see me sitting on the couch, with a plaid and a cup of green tea, going on reading. A good book can keep me captured for hours.

I believe in constant learning and each year I take courses to improve my skills. Furthermore, I’ve been able to travel around the US the last years, taking part in weddings and learning, via the “hands-on” method, more about American brides and how to orchestrate American weddings. In 2011 I had the honor of being one of the speakers during the Annual Conference of Association of Bridal Consultants in Baltimore. That was an incredible moment.

I enjoy helping where I can. Since 2011 I support the American non-profit organization “Wish Upon A Wedding” which grants weddings to people in severe health conditions. And in 2012 I became a member of the local Lions group, taking part from the very beginning in their event managing staff. Giving back to the community is one of my ways of saying “Thank You” for what I have and get.

When planning weddings and events my mission is to treat people the same. To me this means treating you according to your differences and respecting your dreams, opinions, wishes and needs. This is in fact how “Your Wedding – Your Way” was born and how I run my business.

To my way of thinking everyone should have the possibility to get the wedding of their dreams. Through my work, I do anything to make this possible. No dream is too small – or too big – for me. If you can dream it, we can do it.

I’ll be looking forward to making your dreams come true! Have a great Wedd-ing Planning with us.
